Donald Trump Treated Everyone to Lunch At This Fast Food Chain

If you know anything about Donald Trump, it’s that he likes fast food.

In 2019, he famously treated the Clemson Tigers national champion football team to giant helpings of McDonald’s when they visited the White House.

He explained it this way:

“If it’s American, I like it. It’s all American stuff. … But it’s good stuff and we have the national champion team, as you know, Clemson Tigers.

And they had a fantastic game against Alabama and they’re all here. They’re right outside the room and I think we’re going to let you see them. But I’ll bet you, as much food as we have — we have pizzas, we have 300 hamburgers, many, many french fries, all of our favorite foods.

I want to see what’s here when we leave, because I don’t think it’s going to be much. The reason we did this is because of the shutdown. We want to make sure that everything is right, so we sent out, we got this.

And we have some wonderful people working in the White House. They helped us out with this.”

Trump’s theory on fast food chains is rooted in his belief that because most of them are billion dollar companies with so much to lose that they must have food that you won’t get food poison from.

In other words, if McDonald’s had a food poisoning problem, it’d be all over the news, destroy their reputation and cost them tens of millions of dollars.

So it’s no surprise that on his visit to East Palestine, Ohio, yesterday he made a visit to McDonald’s with his entire entourage in tow.

Trump offered to buy local police and firefighters a lunch at the local McDonald’s.

He can be heard on video saying this following while placing his orders:

“What’s your specialty today? . . . “Hello everybody. That’s a nice, beautiful group of people!”

So, I know this menu better than you do. I probably know it better than anybody in here.”
