Congressman Barry Moore Introduces Bill to Make the AR-15 the National Gun

Alabama Congressman Barry Moore has triggered liberals with his latest legislation.

Last week he introduced H.R. 1095.

H.R. 1095 would “declare an AR-15 style rifle chambered in a .223 Remington round or a 5.56x45mm NATO round to be the National Gun of the United States”

Congressman Moore tweeted: “The #SecondAmendment is as American a right as freedom of speech, religion, & the press.

Today I unveiled my bill to make the AR-15 the National Gun of America. We must send a message that we will meet every attack on any of our constitutional rights.”

Liberals on Twitter and elsewhere are having a total meltdown over this.

Congressman Moore is joined by original cosponsors Lauren Boebert (Colorado), Andrew Clyde (Georgia), and George Santos (New York).

The AR-15, America’s most popular hunting and self-defense rifle, is estimated to be owned by as many as forty million Americans nationwide.

President Joe Biden has made it his mission to ban AR-15s, what he refers to as “assault rifles.”

He has joined California Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein in this effort.

Her bill, S. 25, would ban over 200 types of firearms owned by millions of Americans.

Additionally, her bill ban magazines that hold over ten rounds.

Congressman Barry Moore’s resolution is a loud statement that Americans will not be giving up their guns to Joe Biden, Dianne Feinstein and the federal government.

His resolution has been referred to the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability.
